Happy holidays everybody! I'm going to be baking cookies tomorrow morning and giving my family some presents! I love giving... and receiving, but especially giving.
As for tonight, I have been tagged with (two slightly different permutations of) a meme! Here's the deal:
1. You must answer the (10/11) questions you've been tagged with!
2. Make (10/11) new questions! (I just did 10)
3. Tag (10/11) more people! You can't just say 'whoever wants to,' and you can't tag back!
So whatever. I'll respect that final rule... THIS TIME.
From De-PAKed:
1) Favourite gaming company, Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony?
Nintendo, even if I don't agree with some recent choices.
2) Fan comics or Fan Fictions?
Both!
3) Do your friends/family ever try to scare you senseless?
No… my friends sometimes try to pull a fast one on me, though.
4) How often do you spend on DeviantArt in a week?
I open it pretty much every time I'm on the internet and spend maybe half an hour a day focusing on it. Probably a little less on average.
5) Do you possess a "life" away from DeviantArt?
My life is a succession of eight or nine things you'd ask if I have a life away from.
6) Do you consider yourself an "angry" person, or a "happy" person?
Both. I consider myself a naturally emotional person who tries to be more stoic.
7) Are you an introvert, or an extrovert? (Introvert = not a people person. Extrovert = you're a people person.)
I lean a little toward introvert.
8) Are they any fandoms you wish you were more active in? Which?
I wish the Lilo and Stitch fandom was bigger again; I'd probably be more active in it.
9) Which fandom are you most active in?
Probably still Invader Zim.
10) A wild Drama Llama has appeared, what do you do?
I make llama stew. OM NOM NOM.
From DeviantIrk:
1.) What is the exact temperature in your room and in outside? (go get a thermometer and check the weather report online!)
It's 73 Fahrenheit outside and 75 inside. Haha, Floridian Christmas.
2.) What videogame are you currently playing, if any? Which book are you reading at the moment? Do you like them?
I meant to get back into Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World this winter, but so far I've only been playing Lost Odyssey and Team Fortress 2. On the book front, I've just started the Dresden Files book 2 (Fool Moon). All are pretty good.
3.) What do you plan to eat for christmas?
Actually, we're getting Indian food for Christmas dinner this year, because none of us are hugely in love with roast beef, and my sister's vegetarian anyway.
4.) What were your (great-)grandparents' occupation? (my great-grandfather actually was a pretty good swordsmith. Cool, eh? Well. No think about at which time he must have lived and by whom his swords probably have been used. Not so cool, eh? :/ )
SWORDSMITH SO AWESOME. I don't care if he was making Nazi swords, that's badass. I don't know what my great-grandparents did, but my maternal grandfather was in the airforce at the tail end of WWII and mostly was just involved in the postwar occupation and was later a foreign correspondant for the New York Times, as well as some other journalistic work. My maternal grandmother was a pro ballerina and a real estate agent. My paternal grandfather was an MP in the Korean War, a car dealer, and was involved in one of the very early computer companies, and my grandmother managed a large clothing store and owned or co-owned a couple of small stores that mostly dealt in art and antiques. My maternal family has a little bit of a tendency towards adventurous jobs and work in journalism.
5.) If you could choose where you could live for the rest of your life, which place would you pick? (country, environment...)
Probably still in America, in a somewhat colder climate than I live in now… the Northeast or Northwest, maybe, but on a coast. Seattle seems like my kind of environment, but I'd be so far from my family…
6.) Which kind of milk do you like best? (Landliebe! )
Chocolate milk! Made with lowfat milk and either Ubet syrup or Hershey's Dark.
7.) Out of all the fictional characters you've ever met, which one arouse the most controversial feelings inside you?
Hard to say… I'm not much for deep immersion, I'm not the type to feel deep love or hate for a fictional character… I stopped doing this meme for a day to think about it, but my final answer is that I've never felt what I would describe as 'controversial feelings' from a fictional character.
8.) What is your favourite English word? Why? (meaning, sound...)
One that comes to mind is 'indubitably,' for the sound and general attitude of it. I need to use that one more often.
9.) Which films have you seen so often you know the dialogues by heart?
Animal House leaps to mind.
10.) What is the first thing you usally do when getting up on a weekend?
Fall back asleep XD. After that? Get up, throw on clothes, stumble into the kitchen and pour myself something cool to drink. Usually soda or iced tea.
11.) What was the last thing that made you smile?
A joke my sister played on me that consists of gluing a caricature of Steve Buscemi to my television screen – it makes sense in context.
My questions (I'm going to alternate between fun stuff and meaningful stuff):
1.) What anagrams can you make out of your real name? (Use your first, last, middle, or any combination of them).
2.) Is your life a comedy or tragedy?
3.) What are your second and third favorite colors?
4.) If humankind went extinct tomorrow, what animal would you want to be reborn as?
5.) What's your favorite card game? (A game using original cards, or a simple 52-card deck, or tarot – whatever)
6.) What would your last meal be?
7.) What's a really cool thing you like to see in an action movie? (Interpret this however you like)
8.) You are now constructing a new government for an unspecified country. Name three things that you think have to be in the country's constitution.
9.) Favorite caffeinated drink? (If you don't drink caffeine, tell me something else, but don't say water, that's bullcrap and you know it.)
10.) You and Larry King square off in the octagon. What's the best way to take him down in a single attack? (WHOOPS PATTERN BROKEN).
Oh, right, tags! :iconravenpuff:

OCT News
Hmm... been so long since I wrote a journal that the format done gone changed on me again. I feel old.
So! Blood-Sport! #The-BloodSport (https://www.deviantart.com/the-bloodsport) Y'all remember that old chestnut. Well, I'm working on it. No, seriously this time. swiblet (https://www.deviantart.com/swiblet) and I are running the show, with :devravenpuff:'s help and an array of talented judges. If you're on the fence about entering, or haven't checked it out yet, I strongly urge you to enter. Despite the drama that has plagued the tournament in the past (really just part of the IZ-fandom's larger drama), my participation in Blood-Sport, more than any other tournament, has improved my skills, made me so
Wipe that whiny thing off my profile page...
Time for a new journal! I'm feeling somewhat better on that subject, thanks to everybody for your support.
Been a while since I got into a good old IZ OCT. #Resisty-Uprising-OCT (https://www.deviantart.com/resisty-uprising-oct) looks like just that. Irkens only, just like the first Blood-Sport, but for a different reason: this time, the plot focuses on a forced survival tournament the Resisty is holding with their prisoners of war after successfully taking back the Empire. It's a really neat plot opportunity, even if you're only going to do it as a "what-if" for your main plotline like I'm going to. I'm gonna enter Kizzo, an OC I h
Devious Journal Entry
I can't remember the last time I felt this shitty.
Dammit, dammit, dammit.
This job's not even hard. The people are fine. Why the fuck can't I handle it?!
Why can't I even bring myself to want to be a functioning member of society?
Short of material pleasures, my only reason for living is that my death would sadden those around me. But at what point does my life become enough of a burden to outweigh that? I'm trying not to be a burden, but the effort makes me want to rip all my skin off.
Fuck.....
OCT News
Judging Blood-Sports is harrrrrrd because I'm a procraaaaaaaaaaaaastinatorrrrrrrrrrr
With that in mind, I've dropped my plans to enter The Exchange II so I could work on the judging.
I advanced to round 4 in PGO, though! Alex is staying high and dry!

Yes, we must all feast on Llama stew. That will put a stop to them, eventually.
You damned stoic people, its not natural being happy and angry.
You had some cool grandparents, and great grand parents.
How comes everyone else seems to ask better questions than me with these memes? XDD
